A Motor Driven Carbon Arc for the Graphic Arts Industry.

A special compounded motor has been applied to carbon arc feed mechanism to maintain proper location and length of arc gap. The resulting precision of feed in combination with a new crater type high intensity carbon has made possible the application of silvered glass reflector optics to more efficiently direct and utilize the available illumination from the arc.
