We encourage you to enter the Best Workplace in the Americas award program and stand among the most distinguished printing industry leaders by human resources standards. The entrants are judged by an anonymous panel of human resources professionals from the print industry.

Safety Shield

Top companies know the importance of focusing on environmental, health, and safety areas in the workplace. The Safety Shield designation is open to 2020 BWA participants for a nominal additional registration fee. You must enter the BWAs to participate in the Safety Shield program.

The Safety Shield designation offers:

  • A cost-effective assessment of your safety programs against OSHA standards based on top violations;
  • The ability to quickly and easily denote your dedication to safety when hiring and retaining talent; and
  • A plaque commemorating your achievement as a Safety Shield recipient.

Benefits of Winning

National and Local Media Promotion

More than just bragging rights, winners will be promoted to the trade press. A Best Workplace in the Americas winner's logo will be available for use on promotional materials and websites. Safety Shield winners will also be able to use that logo for promotional materials and websites. Sample press releases will be provided for winners to send to their local press.

Recruiting and Marketing

Nearly every winner in the Best Workplace program uses the BWA winner's logo in recruiting and/or marketing campaigns. Plus, if you have clients who are socially conscience about where they do business, the Best Workplaces award is unmatched in the industry for employee relations metrics.
