Summary of Safety and Health Awareness Program for Employees/Employers - A GCIU/OSHA Development Grant

The Safety and Health Awareness Program for Employees/Employers (SHAPE) was underwritten by an OSHA five-year education developmental grant for workers and management in the printing industry. That grant came to a successful conclusion on December 31, 1983. The results of this grant indicated some surprise findings of hazards and attitudes that were not generally known before. This paper shares that information with the general industry on subjects dealing with toxic chemicals, illumination, stress, work procedures, and etc.
