Abstract
A simulation of a simplified lithographic press is presented. Developed and tested with the help of experienced press operators of the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation. Pittsburgh, Pa, the simulated press can be used as a training tool of novice operations, as a simulator for the development of better press controls, or as a first step towards a more comprehensive model.
