Abstract

Photoconductivity in electrostatic printing provides a flexibility of wide use in the graphic arts. Laboratory demonstrations of high speed computer controlled printing, direct production of offset printing plates and highly photosensitive acid resists for deep etch processes will be described. These few applications are felt to be the forerunners of many new advances in the printing art which can be expected in the near future.
