Abstract

Special requirements have been defined for short run multicolor reproduction in those areas where time and conditions do not permit the use of conventional procedures. Some experimental work has been done in this area by the sequential deposition of imaging materials. The requirement to further speed up and simplify the process may lead to single stage multicolor reproduction. Electrostatic techniques, which have supplied a partial solution to the problem, may have further application. Other problems concerned will be outlined.
