Transfer Equations of the Gravure Press System.

In order to improve gravure press efficiency, GRI has conducted a series of carefully planned experiments on production presses over a period of several years. The emphasis was on elucidation of underlying relationships of press parameters rather than on collection of masses of data. These tests were supplemented by laboratory investigation of data on the moisture and elastic properties of paper stocks under realistic conditions.
