A Subtractive Color Measurement and Diagram System Adapted for the Graphic Arts

The chromaticity diagram and all other colorimetric diagram systems are based on additive mixture. Subtractive mixtures cannot be predicted by these diagrams. The Enco Spectralinear Diagram, a subtractive system, has been specifically adapted for the graphic arts. The diagram for this subtractive system retains the important advantages of the GATF color triangle, but is based on spectrophotometer rather than densitometer measurements.
